the last page of short-changed will be up next wednesday, so i decided to do these in advance and throw the poll up to give people and myself time to decide and prepare (respectively).
option 1 - a short comic about outis and keshet, 6 color palette. outis asks keshet what she would like for her birthday, and she asks for a realistic portrait. they have a conversation about abstract art, stylization and simplification, and schizophrenia, as outis paints it for her.
no conflict or heavy emotions in this script, more of a relaxed tone, but historical anti-semitism and nazism would be touched upon briefly. it would likely be longer than option 2.
option 2 - a short comic about outis and ollie, 5 color palette. the two of them have a conversation while walking around to put up posters together. they talk about what their art means to them, which turns into a conversation about genetic alteration.
in this one, there is conflict, but no arguing, as the two have to save face. would feature much more direct addresses of nazism and anti-semitism, depicting some anti-semitic microaggressions and (possibly) propaganda, depending on how the panels end up laid out.
poll will be up shortly.
