this page was... i'll be honest, this page was a pain in the ass to do. a lot of words a lot of props, just a lot going on. couple things i wanted to mention:

1) if you're wondering why outis used french instead of hebrew as an example, besides that it's easier for me to write french than transliterate hebrew, there actually is a canonical reason.
it's hard to explain before drawing a blank, but, suffice to say, outis's ability to speak and understand conversational hebrew (and english for that matter) fluidly varies based on their mental state.
as they are right now, they probably wouldn't be able to understand more than simple sentences or verses of ancient hebrew.

2) no, i'm not gonna obviously avoid showing the painting outis is working on for the whole comic. it was challenging to try figuring out how to show a painterly look with a limited palette like this, but, starting in the next page or 2, i'm going to be attempting to do screentones to render the blended painting.

3) sorry about how i rendered the clothing folds on this page, i've been doing some studies off-hand and it kind of bled into my sketch work on this page, but not in a way i'd consider good.
