this conversation definitely could have been drawn out into a longer, more philosophical topic of what makes up who you are (trite a topic as it is), if your actions can change radically, yet your motives and intentions, conscious or not, are still ignoble/malicious.
instead, this is likely a subject that will be handled more in-depth in drawing a blank, where the question of intentions and history and their relevance are tied into themes involving a concept called "the author's purpose"
i cut a lot of corners because i had 4 hours to take this from sketch to finished today due to computer problems, so i'll probably be cleaning it up a bit sometime later.
