i wanted to do 2-3 more panels for this, but i've been pushing the "4 rows" limit a lot, and this is the third time i've not had the sketch for a comic update completely done before the day it's due, so i'm very drained...
"catching carp" is a made up idiom. it's a "play on words" sort of, because to carp means to nitpick, but it's using it idiomatically as though talking about carp, the fish. i didn't like the sound of "splitting hairs" or "mincing words" in this case, but that's basically the same meaning.
also... as i was uploading this, i realized that every single page since jason was introduced into the comic has had him following lola in the background, lmao. i don't know whether to keep it as a running joke for myself or not.
