hi folks.

sorry this one is so late in the day... the fresh meat page is also late. i've been sick and not realizing it because i have brain problems and was never really taught how. physical illness tends to also directly exacerbate my psychotic symptoms and i have definitely been feeling it this week.
i'm not sure if i'll get the page done at all before it's basically time to start the next one. i woke up at 4 PM today and i've been sleeping for more than usual, only really waking up to waste like 15 tissues at a time to clear my sinuses. i'll see what i can do, but i kept telling myself i couldn't just admit to calling off the page because i had to call off the stream for the same reason.

most of my commission queue is now cleared. i have a couple icons and toons in the queue, but no more sketch pages, thankfully... i still have some thank-you doodles to do as well, though.

last month i opened a poll for the next story i should do after fresh meat and it ended up being catharsis, so i've been working on that to the extent that i can.
i probably won't do any more development streams of it because i'm realizing a lot of is boring and better when i can condense the problem-solving. i still have one post drafted which addresses the next chunk of development i've been doing on the writing.
work on catharsis will continue this month and for the foreseeable future, though. best case scenario, this will also mean i'm going to start drawing felix more as i have to think about them more.

my wife's vocational rehab process has been going... less than ideal, with the last job coach she saw for the month ending up getting very snippy and rude -- it was obvious they had outsourced to a company that isn't hiring employees who know how to handle disabled and autistic clients, despite the whole organization's point.
all of the interviews she had to do were reverse interviews, ie. she had to ask the managers questions about how to get hired, and will then have to apply and interview at any places she saw herself like she would do for any job. prior to being informed of this, they had her sign a contract that obligated her to continue until the process was over, which i wasn't informed about at all until she tried to state she didn't want to continue and was told she had to because she signed a contract she didn't have a copy of... going to see where that goes... she's thinking of applying to other jobs now. our lease ends in 5 months, and it feels like disability, which she should be on, ideally, wouldn't be approved fast enough.
for the months she's been going to the program, they've also refused or skirted around giving her a copy of the paperwork reviewing her psychological interviews as more recent proof of her diagnoses, making it difficult to apply for disability anyway.

november is also her birth month, with her birthday being tomorrow. it's also going to be the anniversary month when i quit smoking, hence the update image this time. next month will be our anniversary month.

patreon has also been introducing a concept called special offers which are basically like sales or time-limited benefits to newer patrons or older patrons to increase their pledges -- if anybody has noticed it being pushed more... i'm not going to be doing any. it's short-sighted immediate gratification and manipulates too many urges people have in addition to just creating more work for me.

anyway, that's all i have, a whole lot of nothing. i'm hoping november will be mainly resting and waiting for the boredom of only attending to my patreon responsibilities getting my creative juices flowing again, as it usually does.
