filler 65

a simple one i did off the cuff after i saw this twitter post and thought of wraith.

tangentially, sorry for the lack of movement on this side comic, guys...
i've started to feel self-conscious about the message of it, even though a lot of the side comics are supposed to put down narrative "touchstones" that aren't necessary for a larger story, but still contribute to its themes. and i've just still been working up to finding my "normal" again.
the last 2 months i needed to take a pretty large amount of commissions to make up for the loss of all of my savings (including the taxes i had set aside for this month, which ended up being more than i thought they would to boot).
next month i'm hoping will be smooth sailing, now that everything is settled. i've felt a lot more consistently "inspired" than i have been for a long time, which leaves me feeling hopeful.

as a side note, i've started setting an hour or 2 aside whenever i want during the day for creative leisure, IF i feel like i want to do it.
i didn't have the money to pick up art supplies this month, but a chunk of my interest lately has been on working on "eat your heart out" -- which, for the ones who haven't picked up on it, is a personal project comic about monday and patience that i'm planning to draw entirely traditionally.
i've already been experimenting with the media i have, and kind of have an idea of what i want to do, but i may post experimental comics and results/thoughts as i work on that, apropos of nothing. if i get really into it, i may end up posting a large chunk of the comic solely to this tier before i really know how to distribute it.

i've also been trying to revive and develop a lot of stories and styles after the last couple months of stream and i was thinking maybe i could post somewhat frequent updates on story developments to the $10 tier just to offer more insight to the writing process... but don't tell them that yet.

wow, this unoriginal filler really spiraled into an apology about a comic that it wasn't an update for and then just stating a bunch of possible plans for the future. sorry, thanks for reading and being patient, folks!
