this page is a little ugly because this week wasn't great for me.
eventually i want to pick at one of these pages to see if i can incorporate some level of blending, although i have to admit that it's relieving to go at them on a level where i can keep up even during a bad week.
i also have to admit that the pages have felt much more "legible" recently, but that might be because i've also been sketching the foregrounds, backgrounds, and middle grounds in different colors, so the depth of field is baked into the shots more.

this character, who i think was the most confusing to guess for readers, is a banana bat. her name is jasmine, and she was supposed to be introduced by name, but i'm considering removing it on the next page, depending on how the pacing plays out (also because the pacing page prior to this one implies that kim should already know her name from group, but judy doesn't know that, so she may or may not try to introduce them).
