in this page i initially drew judy about as nervous as kim due to the awkward tone of the page. i realized at her age, she might actually not be nearly as anxious (especially if she doesn't have social anxiety), and redraw some of her expressions. instinctively i generally write characters who view each other as equals, and they don't get along well if one doesn't view the other as an equal, but that's only a start, and sometimes needs to be adjusted.
originally, i wanted to do at least one more row of panels (probably ideally 3 more rows), but i just didn't have time. it's hard to pace a webcomic between mental illness and a pretty long panel minimum...
you see, in the next page, which was supposed to be on this one kim basically [a truck blaring its horn passes by for 1 week straight]

I don't think I have the eloquence to explain what I really like about how you're writing Fresh Meat but it's just great. Kim's layperson ignorance about how an inpatient facility ('''asylum''') works, the obvious discomfort she has from the dynamics of the other patients + the contrast of how casual/'business as usual' everybody else is... How tense and uncomfortable Kim is really radiates off the page.
