i was originally contemplating cutting the part where kim glances into the quiet room and sees sugar taking a little nap, and the hyena nurse would bring sugar into the room to replace kim as a head instead of tabitha, announcing that she fell asleep again, which would serve the same expositional purpose.
while there were a bunch of small little reasons for choosing not to axe it, but mainly, i preferred the seeping sense of dread imagining somebody like tabitha being pulled into a role playing group therapy session (sorry, tabs).
i'm pretty okay with most of the shot choices on this page, at least. it's mostly the little details or tweaks that didn't get put in, but the compositional strength is much more important to me for a story.

Also I had a dream last night where I saw Kim running around the hospital map in a game I like to play (dead by daylight) and she was running from a monster but it looked strange bc everything was in their respective styles so Kim just looked exactly how she does in the comic but she found the chicken nurse and begged her to get her outta there but she was reading and didn't seem to be even noticing the situation at all I have a feeling it was because of her running away specifically combined with how much the staff don't give a shit or notice how anyone's feeling

2019-07-21 08:22:07 +0000 UTCi love all the colors here; poor tabitha and sugar though. im guessing sugar got reported by the deer staff from earlier, it didnt seem like he was convinced the situation was on kim, and she had been quoted as 'loud' previously when we first saw her too. the transition from day-to-night through this scene is great
