february 2021

hi everyone, i hope all of you have been relatively healthy and safe.
i think it's really funny when arms stick straight up from off-screen, but frequently it's not able to be pushed enough to make it obvious that it's intentional, instead of just an anatomical error. so i decided to just push it for a joke in this one.

i retweet donation posts on my twitter pretty regularly, so i recommend that, but a Black bookstore near me is also struggling with rent because of the prolonged effect the pandemic has had on business, so you can donate to them here as well if you want to.

on that note: strattera, the medication i started for ADHD last month, has been working a lot better than i expected it to. maybe some of you have noticed that my streams have become a bit longer lately -- it's mostly because i have the energy to work for more than ~4 hours at most. i wouldn't say it's exactly the same as adderall, but i am hoping it'll help me get to where i need to be before surgery in april.
i'm hoping that fresh meat will be finished by then, with only a few scenes left. it's kind of why some of the pages have been larger recently. i want it done and over with.

anyway, maybe that's why i have nothing big to say about february! my eyes are on That prize.

poll should be up shortly, q&a might take a bit longer because i need to think of a theme (maybe the fact that i remembered to answer the q&a on time yesterday indicates that the medication is working, lol).

thank you. my only observation is that you can't drink alcohol at all on strattera as it's particularly dangerous, so this is something to keep in mind. i told my psychiatrist that i don't drink at all because it gives me headaches now, but she told me to not drink even recreationally or in moderation regardless, so it seemed like a Big Deal.

thanks gray! i’m really glad your medication is working pretty good, i’ll have to keep that in mind when i talk to my psych next to ask him about it and see if it’s right for me. it’s crazy to have been following fresh meat since it’s start. i started reading drop-out when you were like. 80 pages or so in because will toledo tweeted about it lmfao. i’m sure you’ll wanna rest after this, but i’m excited to see your next project also. i hope you have an easier time with it, i know fresh meat was rough to work on in many parts. anyway thanks for continuing to do what you do, you and your work are inspiring and thought provoking. i hope you have a hearty Purim! here’s to a good rest of the year.
