wow, this comic is finally done! it's filled my stomach with dread for years, and now it's, in some capacity, done. i'd love to go over it at some point and clean up felix's markings, because he was redesigned halfway through.

this ended up being a separate page largely to help add some details; for this one in particular, showing izzi moving her parking placard onto the rearview mirror. she Technically Qualifies for one because of her heart condition. felix does not have one. nonetheless, izzi parked in the handicapped spot because felix is with her. i can't really say how often she uses the parking spaces for herself, as it probably just varies based on how fatigued she feels at a given time.

the next side comic i won't be doing a vote on at all; it's going to be a largely "silent" comic about sugar called "do you still think about it" and will be about suicidal ideation and simply going about daily life with symptoms that don't get better. i will script it over the next few days, and then start posting sketches of the pages next week.

my experience with DID is that the dunning-kruger effect is really prominent, so hopefully it'll be a fun little journey. i don't think i could ever write enough characters to embody the unfortunately infinite spectrum of phenomenological dissociative disorders, but these 2 are meant to complement each other in various ways w/their experiences. they are both, however, fairly visual in how their inner worlds are portrayed; so, after that, outis's dissociative disorder, which manifests almost entirely physically or as hallucinations/nightmares with (ironically) very little inner visual representation, will be a good representation different from these 2.

I have very little knowledge of DID, and this story was so touching. I'm very excited about Catharsis.
