EDIT: i forgot to upload this on friday!!!!! the dark red did not look nice, so it ended up being something more neutral for the black. colors/markings have not been rendered literally in the dark, so sugar's got some odd spots, but she looked more cohesive that way.

here is the start of the next side comic. it will be about sugar as she goes about a Normal Day. we're going to say it takes place about 6 years after the events of drop-out canonically.

it will feature some pretty graphic, albeit censored in some way, gore, and the content of the story will probably be triggering to those sensitive to depictions of suicide. it will be wordless for most of the comic.

the comic will have 2 palettes, which i tested today as well.

this has been a story idea i've had for a couple years, although my sentiment about it deepens as more time passes between me and when i wrote drop-out. this is very much a retrospective sentiment about the events of the comic.

i guess i will expand more as i post more, but here we start, at the beginning of sugar's day. the next sketch will probably be posted next monday. i have a couple big appointments this week, so i will be focusing on writing tomorrow and wednesday.
