november 2021

hi everyone. i have not written an update post in a couple months, although i've been posting and updating.

i think it's just slipped through my fingers, i know last month mawkish's next ACTH test was on the first, so it was a very chaotic day. yesterday, i spent like 8 hours retrieving her cushing's medication because the delivery i was supposed to get 4 days ago was delayed and then delivered to somewhere else entirely...

let me use that as a transition. my hand has been feeling better, but i've definitely progressively slowed down my workflow to accommodate it -- that, combined with writing actively taking up just as much of my time right now, and adjusting to living alone, where no household responsibilities or bills are split between me and someone else, leads me to believe it'll continue to be slower.
i'm trying to accept that i'm not going to be able to draw as much as i used to, and that having a less predictable schedule is... fine. for catharsis, a buffer will mitigate issues with the consumption habits of an audience.
still, i'm hoping to roll out at LEAST one side comic page sketch per week, if not 2, while continuing to work on catharsis, which i firmly believe is going to start early next year and not this year.
i'm about halfway through the script, on scene 15. the script got too big for google docs and i had to transfer it to wordpad... i'm hoping to post some kind of $10 tier development post, since i've done a lot of writing. just have to cobble together my thoughts...

since i've been streaming most days already, i'm going to continue delaying the streams until i'm not juggling commissions and comics and writing all at once.
i think i'd like to do a q&a again this month, although i'm not sure what topic... maybe just questions about either catharsis or do you still think about it, since they're both being worked on right now and there will probably be more questions about it. suggestions for themes/topics for q&a's are always welcome, as well.

anyway, i think that's all i have to say at the mo. thanks so much for the support and patience. i am sure i'm not the only one who has been stretched thin this year.
