EDIT: i ended up changing the first 3 panels because the closure structure in them was really sloppy in multiple ways. it just wasn't as easy to tell what was happening as i wanted it to be, and it had a continuity issue with the way sugar walked at the bathroom door.

so, page 2 continues to add build-up to later in the comic. it also shows a little bit of how sugar has learned to function. her routine is very methodical; she coasts on autopilot frequently.

i ended up putting her shirt on after the shower mostly because twitch would ban my ass if i drew breasts on-stream, but also because it made sense to me. (interestingly, this means that the shower is entirely implied by her wet fur, the use of a towel, and the fact that she's just woken up and is doing her morning routine.)
while cartoons frequently show sleepiness with closed eyes even when a character wouldn't be able to functionif their eyes were LITERALLY closed, sugar's eyes are closed on this page the entire time because she doesn't want to look at herself in the mirror. i'm thinking of drawing them closed more tightly to make this obvious in the final version.
i personally put my shirt on as fast as possible after a shower if i'm feeling particularly volatile about myself just to have less visible in my peripheral.
it's also supposed to demonstrate how rigid her routine is -- she knows where everything is and how to use it without looking. she does not make many decisions based on how she is feeling nowadays, which the routine is supposed to imply.
