EDIT: shading is done now.
yes, i am back, and i managed to sketch out, line, and color this page within the last two days, as it was the only way to get back to a normal schedule. some of the models are wonky, but i left them alone if they were... visually interesting.
one of the panels is already shaded because this scene needed a lot more palette articulation than it had previously on page 50. the rest of the page is flatted with the shadows rather than the highlights, so it looks a little odd right now.
i'm not sure how much i have to say about this page, as it's a lot of intro to the scene. notably, this is the last important scene that tabitha plays a meaningful role in, if she's present at all, if i recall correctly. RIP to a top contender for my fave character in this comic.
a sense of guilt kim has has been heavily emphasized in the last couple scenes, so now this is the payoff. i am excited for it, since i think it's going to develop a different kind of guilt from the most obvious expectation. a guilt tabitha's been carrying with her since her introduction in the comic will kind of tie into it.
it was definitely a challenge to put everything down for a week and a half right before the start of a scene i've been looking forward to for literal years, but i think it was worth it.
