hi again, everyone. it's a new month, so it's time for an update.

let's start with the biggest thing: i'm having surgery at the beginning of december and it means i don't know when i'll be able to work again. i should be fine by the end of the month, but you can safely assume at least the first week of the month, i won't post any updates. my consultant said i should try to adjust to regular life again as quickly as possible, but that the first week i would probably feel horrible in a variety of ways.
the week after that is chanukkah, it shouldn't be a big deal since it's not really forbidden to work during the holiday. the biggest thing will be the surgery.
there shouldn't be much interruption during this month at all, but i will need to make sure everything is paid off halfway into this month. i'm not sure how hectic that will get, but it shouldn't interrupt the updates.

second of all, i forgot to do the Q+A last month again. -_- i'll try to do it today. i'm not a fan of doing the questions on sunday on top of a stream and bi-weekly meetings, but it seems the most fitting time for me. the alternative is to just set a reminder, lol.

last week there was no update since the power was out for like 4 days for me, as it was for like half of the state of oklahoma, due to a big ice storm and poor infrastructure on the company that has a monopoly over power in this state. should resume like normal next week.

on a smaller note, i recently completed an outline for catharsis (third iteration of an outline, i think), which means that even in the worst case scenario, it's ready to be drawn into an actual comic when the time comes. :)
you would be surprised how loose my scripts can be; i've found that even if i try to perfect scripts for scenes up to outlining panel order, i end up changing a lot, so it can be a waste of effort. it's really hit or miss.
i will tweak the outline some more before attempting to make a full script, because refining the beats and thematic points is more important than making sure a specific dialogue exchange is choreographed to perfection. i will also try to remember to make another process post for the $10 tier now that it's done.
