hi again everyone. it's the last month of 2021.

my hand has been aching again. it's largely my fault for just not keeping up with exercises or stretches once it stopped hurting, i think. -_-; lesson learned, maybe. i'm kind of letting it rest for now, but clearly it means that it's going to be kind of stop and go for updates this month until it feels Normal again.

catharsis has about 9 scenes left to be written in the script. i expect it to be done come january -- then, i will be creating a buffer of at least 10 pages (ordinarily, i'd say 5, but because they are so small, it'll be easier to fall behind multiple updates in a row). i think i'd like to have an additional buffer of sketched pages to bring it up to 15 pages total, 10 finished, 5 sketched.
i don't know how long this buffer will take, but if i drew at the speed i want to keep for the actual updates, it will take at least a month and a half. the speed seems very feasible, given how i've felt about working on do you still think about it so far, as long as my hand isn't a complete baby about it.
also, i took a poll on twitter to gauge interest in rewards, so when catharsis starts, i will be posting catharsis updates here a week, or 2 updates, ahead of their public release, for every tier.

i'll post a q&a themed around catharsis this time, i guess it can just be anything related to the story, whether about the characters or development or what. i still haven't posted a writing update to the $10 tier... writing is by far the hardest part of not taking a stimulant as medication for the adhd anymore. certainly after i finish the comic there will be nothing taking up those spoons.

also, i've been working on this big folie a dupe strip i've wanted done. i imagine it'll be finished this month, along with the last 2 icon comms i have to do, and it'll significantly lighten the workload irrelevant to patreon.

that's all i have to say for this update. last month was kind of wild, went into med withdrawal twice because of pharmacy issues. happy hanukkah and happy new year in advance!
