hi everybody. march has been pretty hectic. 

it's my birthday month, and my mother was visiting for half of the month.
i'm also doing physical therapy for my hand twice a week, so it ends up being about every other weekday. it ends up hurting or leaving my nerves raw a lot, so sometimes i've been not able to draw because the pain is suddenly too high, or because i'm exhausted mentally and physically after the appointment. it's frustrating, because they're about 90 minutes long, but i have to charge my car to go, so it can end up being 3-4 hours just for the appointment. my "homework" also takes quite a bit of my time twice a day.
on top of that, mawkish has had a string of vet bills for dental surgery, which ended up making her have a weird bout of GI distress, which then gave her a sinus infection that makes her struggle to breathe and still hasn't gone away. obviously, i don't really have like, a thousand dollars laying around at this point, so i took on some commissions to pay for those.
and then the XR formulation i got of the ritalin is worse and gives me a significant crash after 7 hours... so there's been that as an issue.
but, my mother's gone now. physical therapy seems to be focusing on my shoulders right now, because wrist and hand exercises made it go berserk. it means the strain has been primarily on my shoulders instead of my hand for a bit (although the appts themselves are still exhausting). at the same time, my meds won't be changing until the end of the month at the earliest, and mawkish's health is still pretty precarious right now, so Obstacles may continue to pop up. that's why the updates have become a little more sporadic, though.

still trying to update DYSTAI twice a week when i can -- on mondays and wednesdays, with tuesdays and thursdays being backup days to make up for those. still, sometimes the week is like a line of dominoes. my plan for the month is just to continue updating that way. next month, i'll put up a poll to see if people'd like me to introduce catharsis at that point.
also, i've been doing a decent amount of work on the worm comic i mentioned earlier in my free time, so i'll probably make a development post about that at some point this month?
