Added 2022-09-02 19:52:31 +0000 UTChi everyone. i haven't made a tried and true update image in a while, and i used to make one every month, and it feels bad!
i moved to illinois in august and it was the messiest move i have ever experienced due to a variety of factors that were entirely out of my control. a lot of it is still up in the air, but the housing itself is secured.
the weather is a lot nicer here. on the flip side, no clinics want to take me in as a patient. i'm paying for a therapist and psychiatrist out-of-pocket, and i am still looking for a GP and waiting to see if IL provides me medicaid...
more relevant to my work -- it should start to stabilize this month. i have one page of drop-out left to edit, i finished the last of the commissions i took in april, and i'm sketching catharsis pages at this point as well. my hand is a little achey after going ham on that FaD strip, but I just need to unpack some of my stuff, and find my heat pad and ice pack.
not a huge update, but i figured i would let you all know that i'm somewhat settled in here, and will be back to working most days. if i'm lucky, i'll be able to finish prepping the buffer for catharsis by the end of the month, 6 months later than i wanted. every page is supposed to be a maximum of 8 panels, with an average of 6, and a minimum of 4.
i will refrain from posting any of the buffer until it's all prepped; i held a poll a while ago where i asked how far ahead of public updates patrons would like to be, and the majority said just a couple of days or a week ahead -- not a huge margin, like months ahead, which the buffer will ideally be.
in spite of that, i'll be streaming my work on catharsis on patrons/subs only streams for patrons who do want to see it that early.
