A Lesson in Lessons - Analysis of Episode 3
Added 2021-10-30 00:39:35 +0000 UTCHello again!!! It's time for Episode 3 of this slow-burn analysis series of a series!!!
A Lesson in Expectations released March 12th, 2021. Oh boy. Now this one was so much fun to make, mostly just with the anticipation of how you'd all react. The first major twist. The first major step into fantastical territory. The first step towards the unknown. I named the episode specifically for that purpose. A double entendre about what this series will be. Expectations are made to be shattered, and that's what I intended to do from here on out.
It got to the point where every episode had some major revelation trying to outdo the previous one, but I kinda let myself go with that to try and have as much fun as I could, and keep you all entertained.
We had hands and mouths, and this episode originally I intended to move towards more body play/straight up sex, but then I realized, there hadn't been oral for the listener yet! Time to take care of that, but also, to do something fun and naughty, so 69 it is!!!
I've barely ever done 69 in an audio, but it's fun because it's basically just "do the oral sounds, but also layer in the blowjob sounds for me! As y'all probably know from my long catalog of audios both here and on Reddit, I am a fan of doing oral in audios. It's fun, and allows for a lot of flexibility in SFX design because you don't have to worry about background stuff overlapping as much. Just moan and make wet sounds with ya mouth. It's a great time. Love it. 10/7 do recommend.
One thing that later came back to bite me if you think too hard about it, is the timeframe. I didn't originally intend for this to follow the previous episode directly, and because of that, there isn't technically room for the Elis to have switched. So there's indication that it's demon Eli (Deli affectionately) at the restaurant. I also hadn't quite narrowed down how I wanted him to sound, and throughout the series I made him a little deeper/raspier so that he's more easily identifiable. In this episode though, he's almost inseparable from the real one except at the end when he sounds like a serial killer.
And the piece de resistance... the reveal. Two Elis. One that you totally just had banging sex with, and then... Eli. Two identical men who talk to you like they know you so well. Two men who have such plans for you. How fun. And how fun to return to the "super cool sex, and then BAM plot is here" that we loved from the Neighbor episode 4! Good times...
We also reveal the jeweled dagger, the Key. This early I hadn't quite written in my mind the idea of the memory loss, nor the Children of the Stars, but I did want the knife to be something special that would reappear, and eventually be super important. Just a small detail this early, but an instrument of destiny in the right circumstances. And boy does that destiny develop from here.
Until next time... 💕

2021-10-30 16:35:03 +0000 UTCweeping irl. i love seeing these behind the scenes bits. we always talk about how much we love your brain, but it’s so refreshing to see This side of your brain. your storytelling is so thorough and unique and …. sparkly? i don’t know how to explain it but there’s a sort of mysticism inherent in everything that you do and i love it. i love the lessons series even more with every analysis we get.

2021-10-30 06:43:55 +0000 UTCI had every intention of continuing the story and making it work even had y'all killed one of the Elis. There are always so many possibilities, and that's part of why I love this CYOA style for these series' so much. It allows for content that you all can be involved in, and that feels special for you all. You all get to feel like this is made special FOR you. 💕
