Added 2022-01-03 20:41:13 +0000 UTCBlue sets a communicator before you, gently patting your shoulder as he takes his seat beside you. The command room is quiet; painfully so. A ring of empty chairs sit around a sleek metal table, betraying the lack of manpower in Facility 4.
The communicator beeps softly, drawing your attention as a map materializes on the screen. The tag "Facility 2" floats above a small square at the center of the screen. A field of dots slowly appear around it. Anomalies.
"It may look like a lot but that's just because... well, no it's true. There are a lot. They're also not all sentient Anomalies. Some are objects or places, of Anomalous origin or power. I've got some information from the few scouts and field teams we have in the area. I think that should help us narrow down what to do first.
It's unclear how active or prepared Red's forces are. We could attack Facility 2, but we are definitely putting ourselves at risk doing so.
We could rest and recuperate, call around and find out what we've got for reinforcements from the surviving facilities. There's plenty still that need to heal and rearm after the attacks. It would be allowing Red the same courtesy, but at least we'd be better situated ourselves.
Otherwise, we set out. Start on this mission of collection and negotiation. Limit Red's options when it comes to allies and forces.
