Sorely needed and appreciated after the devastation of the previous one, but it also adds a new layer of heartache to Rupert’s grief. The fact that you were able to portray a beautiful love story between two characters that you created and voiced is nothing short of incredible, and I mean that genuinely. The slow buildup of it all as they get to know each other better and Ian’s walls start to come down, to the eventual realization that their feelings for each other are more than platonic, was so well done. Two characters who are so different from each other and who express love in different ways - Ian with a kind of quiet warmth, slow to trust which makes him freely admitting his love to Rupert all the more endearing, and Rupert with his charming ways, who wears his heart on his sleeve, but when they come together it just works. It’s home. The sex scene here is definitely my favorite in the series so far, maybe even of all time? Simply put, I loved every second of it. I probably say it too much but thank you for sharing these stories with us, they are so special to me. It’s honestly kinda embarrassing how much I’m gushing over these characters lol but as someone who struggles a lot with emotional repression, when I am touched deeply by a story I just really want to express my appreciation. The AA story as a whole has been incredible and an action packed ride so far, but this love story between Rupert and Ian… it’s so beautiful. Their love feels simple, pure, but the characters themselves are so well-developed and complex. Thank you for this 🤍
