The crickets and frogs chirp and croak, the wind howls, and the soft dying crackle of the bonfire echoes through your village. But even through all the noise, you can tell, something is missing. It's been with you for so long you've never had to listen for it. The vibration that has been a part of your life as long as you can remember. The Song. It's gone silent.
You shiver, unsure of what to do. What to think. Something is wrong. Something is very wrong. You sit up and grab your clothes, the silence itching at your mind. Nelo hasn't come back from his night patrol of the village, but you can't just lay here and wait. You've got to try and figure out what happened; to you, and to the Song.
