Some Upcoming Changes

Hello everyone! I have been thinking about this for the last couple months, but I think it's about time to start acting on some important changes for myself and this platform.

It's been 3 years now I've been running this Patreon and creating content here. From the early access Monday audios, to sharing all sorts of other little side projects, to life updates/the rambles that kinda died out, to the Discord server and all the shenanigans that entails. It's kind of amazing to think about how much content I've created. It's been such a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, and I've truly appreciated that thanks to your support I've been able to make this my life.

I've been working in other spaces as well all this while: creating unique content for Quinn, making individually tailored audios through commissions, voice work for an audiobook, streaming on Twitch, and making gaming and review videos for YouTube. It's been a LOT of work and a LOT of fun.

However, after all this time it's been getting more and more apparent that some things need to change. I am losing some of my bandwidth to these other projects, as well as to the slow and frankly annoying drain of mental illness. I don't have the capacity to work on the million things at a time that I used to, even though I truly still want to.

Patreon has been my bedrock for these last 3 years, and I do not plan to stop creating here. But it's become clear over these last 3 years that my presence on this platform has been stagnating. In the last two years especially, there hasn't been any real growth here. That's not the most important thing of course, but as sad as it is to say, this is a part of how I pay my bills, and with how expensive everything is these days, I do need to focus some more energy towards pursuits that can more adequately house and feed me.

Toward this end, in April I'm going to be collapsing the two tiers together into one $8 tier. I was doing some research on other creator's Patreons, and that seems to be the average cost for the amount of content I'll be putting out so I figured that would be fair, as well as taking into account that the Cuties will be now getting access to the entire backlog of Sillybutt exclusive content going forward. I'll still be posting the early access Monday audios and any weird side content I do like usual, but I'm going to move to posting biweekly for the exclusive audios. I DO plan to hold onto the concept of voting for content that the Sillybutts got, and would like to use that to give EVERYONE a voice now in what sort of content they want to see for the exclusives every other week.

For the Sillybutts, I am sorry but I'm going to be taking a break from working on Earthblood. It's been such an amazing time writing and performing and editing these big series' and getting to watch the responses to each new adventure and each new episode. I've loved Earthblood and had such grand ideas for it, but to be honest I've been struggling with direction lately and I think the only way I can make the rest of the story worth your time is to ask for a little patience so I can get things more in line with my vision for it. Sorry for leaving it on such a cliffhanger.

This is not the end of the Patreon (not until y'all decide you're done with me). I am hopeful that this shift will create more room for me to grow in other areas, as well as provide me more time and energy to ensure that what I DO post on Patreon is of the quality that you all deserve.
