Moonlight - M4A
Added 2024-03-30 21:39:09 +0000 UTCIt's been a looooooooooong time since I made one of these comfort audio style thingies like Stargazing where I just talk about how I'm feeling and it's really me. So here's another one for y'all that I'm working on making a video form for YouTube as well. Not super sleep oriented, more just talking about life and internal struggles that hopefully some people can resonate with. 💕

I’m also one of those people that feels like I don’t deserve nice things either- because I feel like I’m never doing enough/ will never be enough. It comes out the MOST with my work too. I work with kids, and the guilt is heavy (am I helping enough? Does this kid feel heard? Do all of them feel heard? Did they leave feeling accomplished?). So I absolutely empathize with so much of this audio. I can say with confidence (and with lots of therapy) that you DO deserve the things you’ve worked so hard for. You deserve all the care and compassion you give to all of us 🖤 You’re doing your best, and your best is just right

2024-08-29 04:44:59 +0000 UTCOh Eli. I was needing some comfort today, and I surely got it. These are always so soothing so thank you. But I have to mention something: you talked about the moon and how it gets to shine bright. How hard it works and shows up every night no matter what. But even the moon has a cyclical rest. Like clockwork. Sure, everyone admires how bright and beautiful the moon is, but we appreciate its beauty and power that much more each time we’ve cycled through a new moon’s phase. If the moon was full all the time, we wouldn’t have those moments of appreciation where we gasp and say “look at the moon!” The same goes for you. You have to allow yourself that space or those cycles to rest so that you can continue to shine in a way that only you know how. And trust me when I say you shine so bright, Eli. I was raised pagan and we have SO MANY FEELS about the moon. I could go on for days about her. But at the end of the day, whether the moon knows what it’s doing or not, she’s still one of the most important parts of our orbit just by being who she is. Just like you. All you have to do is be you, and that’s enough. You’re more than enough! You ARE gonna be okay. 🖤
