I really do obsess over making sure that everything makes sense from the listener's perspective, and often have to adjust and/or rewrite scenes to make sure that it is clear AS WELL AS fun to listen to. And yes, no top of clarity, I do spend a lot of time in the writing trying to ensure the sexy times have reason, have purpose and depth, and I just love creating a story to build up towards that so it feels even more earned. ๐ฅฐ๐๐

XD Now that I FINALLY have~ I think a lot of the time when people edit these roleplay audios they forget the space & POV of the listener character, and I think that's what I love best about this one--we ARE the merperson, our POV sticks with it the whole time, and you never really forget that when choosing your SFX, which is the harder editing choice. (and if you think that's obvious, lemme tell you dude, I wish it was, but I've listened to so man audios where the microphone follows the speaker in the intro. It's so disorienting.) I know you claim you just throw sounds together, but YOU had to choose those sounds. I know exactly what you mean when you feel lucky about what you choose, cause when I edit, it just comes together like magic sometimes and part of the editing process is the discovery of sound effects and how you can weave them together, and yes, you do just sort of pick one and try it out, but your creativity is what aligns them properly. Your sense of what sounds right and real is very nuanced and good, my dude. I have this image in my head of that first scene where we dive under the water in a panic of Neptune & Rex running to look into the water (that's the image in my head), but like from our POV under it that I wish I had time to paint, I think it would be a really cool shot haha. I love also that you had to create all this depth & character development to justify getting horny with our shipwreck victim. It just speaks to why your audios feel so safe, that you really put so much thought into the interactions you give us. Anyways, thanks for the 40 minute masterpiece. WORTH THE WAIT.
