Harley Quinn colors

Attached is a high resolution version of my recent Harley Quinn pic.

I tried out some different coloring techniques with this one.

The sketch was done in pencil, but inking and coloring was done completely in Manga Studio.

Any thoughts/feedback on the new digital stuff are appreciated.

Well it did a good job making it look like the batcave. I agree it suits the cartoon or anime style but I think it'll look good on the inked and colored sketches too. I appreciate the fan art. By the way, I don't know if you have a delay between posting on Patreon and posting on Karmagikart.com, but separating the two by a few days or a week might help Patreon patronage maybe. I don't know but it's just a thought that crossed my mind, so I decided to pass it along. Good luck. 😆

My thought was that it was probably the batcave. The coloring style is something I was testing out. I was wondering if it was something I could do fairly quickly and still have it look good. Something closer to an animation or anime style colors. I liked it more than I thought I would. I think it works well for cartoon types. I'll get around to the Original characters soon. In the meantime I thought I'd use my practice as a way to generate some new fanart and maybe reach a few new viewers.

It looks Harley is in the Batcave about to offer Batman a choice, "Bang me or I'll bang you." It looks good, the detail stands out well, the shading tones on Harley and the cave wall show the presence of a light source and gives it that glossy look, I myself prefer the matte or muted finish, but a lot of artists are going to the gloss finish now a days because it gives it that simulated 3D look. If it's easier to use I think the Manga Studio would be the way to go. I think the true test would be to try it on a Randi or MILF comic to see how it works on them. Good luck.
