Progress Report

Holy fuck, this just keeps getting worse and worse!

So, I'm still on chapter 4. You know, the second half of what used to just be chapter 3. And I just rewrote the second half of the sex scene for the third time. I shit you not. From the ground up, the version I've just spent the last 6 hours making is my third attempt.

Why? Because, well... I crossed a line. It finally happened. I went too far. And the whole thing just wound up feeling deeply uncomfortable. It would have been controversial, even. Like, jesus fucking christ Xev what the fuck?

But there is some good news. Third time's the charm it seems, because this version avoids the crippling discomfort that accompanied the previous takes while somehow only making the actual content more extreme. That's right. You heard me. More extreme. I managed to successfully navigate around the specific attribute that crossed the line before while escalating all of the specific pieces of the scene to an even more ridiculous and gratuitous level. Day 14 with Logan might as well be Dora the fucking explorer next to this shit. 

Honestly, I think this scene set the ceiling. I should never ever make a sex scene that goes this far ever again. The second sex scene for Day 17 is very different. Nowhere near as extreme, though still very creative and it does a lot of cool new things. The first one is just batshit crazy for better or for worse. It'll probably need a content warning...

Anyway. The opening of that sequence and the sequence that follows are already up to snuff. The only piece that needs finishing now is the lucky last and that shouldn't be too difficult to do with a clear head. So I'll be coming back to that next time and maybe, just maybe, it'll finally be done. Yeeesh!

Chapter 3 has also been approved by the team. Unfortunately, a chunk of it was cut, though that's probably a good thing if I'm honest because it was more mundane exposition about shit that really isn't all that important and CurryCatz was just like 'wtf'. It doesn't help that chapter's flow as the bit that was removed was the bit other than the big block of exposition, so it's still a nightmare, but at least it gets to the point a little faster now. And of course, once that point has been made, the chapter 4 fun can begin!

Anyway. Holy fuck. Shit is ridiculous. Maybe soon I can start on a piece of content I haven't been beating my head against a wall over for almost a whole month? That'd be nice. Unless that one goes just as poorly in which, refer to the above image.
