Progress Report

Apologies for the radio silence for the past week or so. There's not been a whole lot to report as I've been struggling to focus on and finish the final chapter of the forthcoming update. I was able to get a larger supply of my ADHD medication this month and took advantage of what I thought would be additional productivity by making an early start and forgoing my usual time off. This has come back to bite me as my productivity has plummeted as the month has gone on. Each chapter has taken longer than the previous to finish and as of right now, I'm just putting the final touches on the first pass version of the final chapter of the day. 

It's been an educational experience, that much is for sure. It has reiterated the need for regular breaks and shown me just what happens when I don't take the time I need and forge ahead regardless. Alas, here I am with 36~ hours before launch with a chapter that isn't even close to ready. Can I finish it on time? Well, it's possible... I've been struggling more than ever before to remain on task, though perhaps the pressure of the deadline will be just the thing I need. With the time I have available to me, I am confident I can have it release ready on time, though it's hard to say whether it will reach the usual level of polish under those circumstances. The best I can do is try, and try I shall.

On the artwork front, CurryCatz isn't doing much better than I am with the majority of the sex scene as yet unfinished. He works well under pressure, but that's one hell of a lot of images in a very short time...

The last thing I want is to delay but if that is what has to happen, that's what we'll do. As of right now, all I can do is get the lead out and write up a storm so that my side of things makes the cut. And from there, we will see how things sync up.

You'll hear from me on release day one way or another. With any luck, it'll be with a build in hand, but I'll be in touch all the same.
