Progress Report

2022... how time flies! It doesn't seem all that long ago that CurryCatz and I first teamed up to make our dream of creating a visual novel a reality. Back then, I thought we'd be lucky to have a small yet loyal fanbase... suffice to say, we got far more than we bargained for! It's still pretty surreal sometimes! This month also marks the one year anniversary of when development began on Tai's Route. I did NOT expect to still be working on it a year later! Thankfully, it shouldn't be too long before it's all wrapped up and we can move onto something new.

Addressing the picture of the handsome shibe above: The 'Progress Report' tag had no cover image, so... now it does! Isn't Roux just so dreamy? And don't worry, you'll be meeting him this coming update. We'd hoped to squeeze that in with this months update but didn't quite make it that far. All going well, you'll also be meeting Tobias next month as well! So many new characters, so little time...

I'm currently hard at work on chapter 3 of day 18 and so far it's absolute dynamite. I wasn't completely sure about the specifics of how the scene would play out going into it, but inspiration struck as it often does and chapter 3 is off to such a strong start that even though this is all first pass stuff, I doubt what I have so far will change one bit with the exception of spelling/grammar etc.

I'm hoping to wrap chapter 3 up in the next day or two, after all, I didn't get nearly enough done last month! Hopefully this month I can make up for that! Day 18 currently has 6 chapters planned and will most certainly be shorter than 17 and 16 were, though that isn't to say it won't come with some twists and turns along the way!
