Progress Report
Added 2021-09-24 09:46:01 +0000 UTCOkay. I had a long thing written here, but I'm scolding myself and insisting that I will be concise. Here goes.
Chapter 1 was already finished in the last progress report. Still pretty happy with how this one came out.
Chapter 2 is roughly 90% done and will be rolling out to the team soon once it's had some polish and a little pruning. Chapter 2 turned out massively better than I'd expected, I'm really pleased with it!
Chapter 3 is about 10% finished and now consolidates what was 4 and 5, so it's the final chapter of this update. Writing has begun, but this one is going to be a huge undertaking. There's challenging content, and dense information that I need to convey without ruining the pacing. The ideas for this scene are stellar, but now I need to land the execution...
I'm targeting 35000 - 40000 words for this update at this stage.
And done. That was fairly concise, right? Now to apply that to the writing where needed...
