Intro Remake Tease

Just a little something something to whet your appetites.

I wasn't quite finding my groove with 19x6 as I'd hoped, so I've done as I said I'd do if things didn't go to plan and switched over to working on the Day 1 Remake instead. With CurryCatz here, we're both more or less co-directing this new opening and tossing ideas back and forth as well as working together to provide material for the new opening is much much easier in person!

The new cold opening takes place on what would essentially be Day 0 during the early hours of the morning. It shows the exact moment a frustrated and exhausted Adrian decides to call Diego in the middle of the night, waking the poor Dingo in the process.

We've gone all in here with the visuals and sound to really set the mood as dreary and miserable, only to completely flip that shortly after when we cut ahead to the train sequence you all know and love.

We're making good progress so far and what's done is pretty superb, but there's plenty more work to do before we're finished, so we'll keep chipping away at it! One thing is for sure though - the new intro is going to be massively better than the old one!
