On his first night in Woodcrest after Diego has gone to bed, Adrian hears an unusual sound from Diego's bedroom! Peering through the keyhole to investigate (and not to check if he sleeps in the nude, he swears!), he sees something that sends a chill up his spine... uh-oh!
Those few of you who played our original prototype might recall a brief scene at the end of day 1 where you can peer into Diego's room. An offhand suggestion to CurryCatz earlier this evening has resulted in a similar scene making its way into the new Day 1 remake! We spent the entire morning creating the assets and programming everything, and I must say, I'm thrilled with how it's come out! We've used very little in-engine animation up until the debut of the intro remake, and with time finally on our side and the desire to make the new introduction the very best it can be, we're taking the time to experiment and whip up fancy little moments like this! And in case you were concerned, don't worry! These animations are fully supported by the browser-based client!
Send your thoughts and prayers to poor Adrian, as I suspect he's about to get a walloping!
