Development Plan for May/June

Hey y'all,

I'm dropping by to clue you guys in on what we have planned for development in the near future, as things will be a touch out of whack for a month or two as I tackle some bad habits relating to my ADHD and medication which has rendered the medication largely ineffective and me largely useless for great swathes of our development time. 

I would rather not elaborate too much on exactly what those habits are, simply because the last thing I want is a lecture (or ten). I know. Believe me, I know, and I don't need to hear it again. But one thing that is for certain is that I've been failing to take the tolerance breaks someone on such medication should be taking roughly once every month. It started one month when I was behind on schedule and I desperately wanted the extra time to continue work... funny how the price I've paid for that is being behind on practically everything since to increasing degrees. 

At any rate, with the medication failing to focus my scattered, erratic and hyperactive brain, this has made writing incredibly difficult. The stress of being behind only makes that so much worse, and the result is a vicious self-replicating cycle. With the severity of the struggles faced when working on the last update, there's no longer any other option but to sort myself out and tackle this problem head on. 

So for what will likely last the rest of May, I will be undergoing a detox to clear the medication from my system and hopefully reset my tolerance in the process. I'll also be taking this time to address other bad habits and such I've accumulated along the way that have impacted me or my ability to write in a negative way. 

At this point, I cannot rightly say what will be produced in time for our June release day. It's not impossible that we will have something for you, but at best I would expect it to be a small piece which we expand on with a content update later in the month. In general however, I would not expect a June 2nd release at this stage - instead, we anticipate that we will instead target mid-June for the next Patreon update. There will be an update next month, that much I can promise you, I just can't say for sure when just yet, so please be patient with us.

On the plus side, we've expanded and improved several major sequences in Day 19 with far better versions than what we had initially planned, and one of these is up next - a retooled version of 19x3 which... well, I'm really excited for you guys to see this one. And I hope after a good detox and such, I'm just as excited to actually write it.

I'll be checking in from time to time to keep you up to date as plans solidify and what not. And once the worst of my withdrawals have passed, I might just throw up a stream on Discord for y'all. No word just yet on exactly what it'll be, but my hope is that I won't be hosting alone. Fingers crossed all goes to plan. 

Oh, and I should say... thank you all for your patience, both so far, and with this. It's been difficult, but my number one goal is to get back to the level of efficacy and productivity I was at when Day 14 - 16 were in production. Hopefully, this will be the thing that makes that happen... then we can finish with Tai's route, enjoy a small holiday with Diego then get cracking on whoever's route comes next!
