Progress Report

Earlier today, I finished up on the first pass of Day 19 Chapter 3. As mentioned in previous posts, I took a long break this month for a much needed detox from ADHD meds and I'm in the process of trying to reconstruct a healthier and, crucially, more effective routine when it comes to my work. All that is to say the build scheduled for release in a few days is something I've produced with only a week to do it. And... it's surprisingly dense! 

CurryCatz of course has his own schedule, so this update will ship with some artwork flourishes like Dom's updated sprite, but content wise, the new chapter is on target for release and is one of the biggest single chapters I've produced in a while. Not only that, but the vast majority of what I have right now came together in a single day. Hopefully that's a sign that some of what I'm doing and have done is working, but I know better than to count my chickens before they hatch, as they saying goes.

The plan is still, of course, to release another update later in the month with additional content to make up for the smaller build on the usual release day, though realistically it's pretty close to being normal sized when compared with recent builds, but still. If I can get more stuff out, I'd prefer to - we've been working on Tai's route for far too long and I want to be done with it!

This new sequence is quite an interesting one too. You see from the perspectives of 4 different characters, with Adrian himself only taking up about 20% of the chapter, and it also pretty much wraps up one background story thread and brings another to the point where it can now be closed off. You'll also be introduced to a character called Huxley. Not much to say about Huxley on account of spoilers, you'll just have to wait and see! Oh, and there's more Roo. Only a little, but there's more... you'll get a big dose of him next update!
