Okay, look, I know I promised it wouldn't be long. But you should know by now that I am completely useless at keeping to schedule comittments! Of course it'd take me like a whole other week, just like, my thing, man!

On a more serious note, I wanted to discuss where I'm at right now and what the remaining steps are before I can finally get this thing in your hands!

19x4's second pass is about to wrap up shortly. It consists of two main sequences, one of which I'm pretty damn happy with, the other which is perfectly adequate and fit for purpose, if a little by the numbers. As things stand, 19x4 in general could use another layer of polish overall, so my plan is to do a third pass mostly focused on the polish, but also taking the time to tinker with the lesser of those two sequences in the hope that I'll land on a bullseye and find just the missing ingredient to make that scene great!

Honestly? I doubt that'll work as I have a feeling that the scene is a good as it's likely to get with the various moving parts going into it, but the least I can do is try! Worst case scenario, I'll drop that sequence as it is. Like I said, it's honestly perfectly fine, I'm just not the sort to settle for 'fine' when I know I can do better. But if it's still just fine after three whole passes, then fine it shall remain!

The second pass will only take another 20 minutes or so worth of work to finish and I plan to do this very soon. However between the third pass, the various spelling/grammar and technical passes, the edits, the team playtesting the new stuff, etc etc, I fear my eyes simply won't remain open for that long. I will endeavour to at least make a good start to ensure I'm on the home stretch, I just wouldn't expect it, like, today, is all. Probably the 8th if I had to estimate. Fingers crossed?

PS: we're in excess of 15000 words now making this the longest build this year so far... and to think this was supposed to be a short and sweet one chapter content drop. God damn...
