We're Still Hard At Work!
Added 2022-07-10 05:32:17 +0000 UTCJust in case you thought we might have forgotten, don't worry, we haven't! Sadly, I still haven't gotten the content quite right. I pushed a version to the team today, but it quickly became clear I needed to reconsider some things and shake up the order in which a few things happen, so back to the drawing board I go. It is abject suffering, believe me, but I am also largely satisfied with how Tai's route has turned out and I know I would never forgive myself if I let myself get lazy at such a crucial point and released something subpar. Thanks so much for your patience so far. I'm sorry about the wait. I hope when the content is eventually ready to release, it'll be worth it!
In other news, the web portal for our web based builds is currently undergoing internal testing before we roll it out to you guys in beta. In addition, testing for the web version of Sileo itself has concluded and almost no issues were reported! All I've got on my list are two issues to rectify, one of which I guarantee 99% of people won't even notice anyway and is just a visual issue, and another which is a mild annoyance that can easily be worked around, but hopefully just as easily fixed all together! I've spent many hours today writing, so I can forgive myself if I take an hour or two to address these small problems to endure everything is as good as it can be for launch.
At this stage, I'm expecting the web side of things to be ready ahead of the content, so my loose plan at this stage is to initially release the build we've been using for testing and such leading up to this release which is based on the current public build but with numerous improvements, some web related, some not. Assuming there isn't a massive meltdown, the content update build will replace that previous one as soon as it is available on our site.
Anyway, it's looking like we might be all go with the web release soon, so I'll take my leave and fix these bugs - expect to hear from me again in the coming days!
