Progress Report + Upcoming Release

Hey there, peeps.

I previously stated that we'd be releasing the next update by the end of this month come hell or high water and that will indeed be the case. This month has been a pretty rough one, a change in my ADHD medication making things even more difficult than they needed to be, but I'll be back on my old meds as of tomorrow which will give me the surge I need to wrap up what I've been working on. As soon as I finish that, we'll go straight into prerelease testing rather than trying to squeeze anything more in. I expect to release somewhere around the 28th at this stage, give or take a day or two.

Regrettably this will be another single chapter release, something I'm very disappointed by considering the long wait, but it seems better to release something and wipe the slate clean - the longer a release takes, the more stressed and frustrated I become, and those things certainly don't make development any easier. With that said, despite being a single chapter, I'm very happy with the completed aspects so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how the final product shapes up. It's a fun little chapter and is ridiculously cute, so I can't wait for you all to get your hands on it.

Once this build is out, I'll be straight back to it and stuck into the next chapter to have that done ASAP. CurryCatz is coming to visit early next month so with any luck, working together in person will help keep me focused and on task. I'll ask that he crack the whip!

I'd love to show you the CG from this new chapter, but it's a pretty big spoiler so I really can't. Just trust me that it looks fantastic and really makes the scene.
