Progress Report

Howdy, everyone!

Just a quick check in so you know progress is being made. CurryCatz is here staying with me for the next couple of months. The last week and a half or so has mostly been spent getting over jetlag and settling in, but we've begun work on the next update and have already made solid progress. It's easier to stay on track when we're both working together in the same room.

As of tonight, the first pass version of 20x4 is about 90% complete. 20x4 acts as closure for Tobias and Logan and reveals what went down following Adrian and Diego's discussion with each of them on Day 19. I had a few ideas about how exactly this sequence was going to pan out and hadn't rightly decided what direction it was going to go even when I began writing it. Instead, I let ol' Jesus take the wheel and went wherever inspiration took me. So far, I'm quite pleased with the results! It's going to need plenty of polish and refinement before I can consider it release ready, but what I have is an entertaining and heartwarming sequence that, so far, I'm proud of.

Something in particular I'm very pleased with and I'm sure you will all enjoy is revisiting the story Adrian tells Tai on Day 17 about the time Tobias smuggled alcohol into Adrian and Diego's university dorm resulting in a blackout, a naked monkey whose underwear is left hanging from a ceiling fan, and a lifetime ban from the local pizza parlor. Neither Adrian nor Diego have any idea what happened that night...

...but Tobias remembers everything. Dun dun duuuun.

Anyway, this one is coming together quite quickly and I'm pleased with the results so far. The second pass on this one is going to be fairly intensive but all going well it won't be long before this one is wrapped up and ready to go. And after this? There's just one chapter left in Tai's route. We're almost done.
