First details on next world, Remembrance

This post has a lot of spoilers for the next world after 'Obsession' is complete. The name of this world is Remembrance.

Note that 'Remembrance' is still far off. My current estimate is for it starting late December/January.

Everything I'm posting is SUBJECT TO CHANGE. These are preliminary outlines and designs. When the writing begins, details will shift to meet the needs of the story.

On Variation of Worlds:

'Obsession' was a world where every character had an obsession with the main character, Monika (and sometimes more than one obsession). Although all LIs had their own… issues, their feelings were true (as they perceived them).

This will not be the case in 'Remembrance'. You cannot assume all characters will truly love Monika. Some characters may even lie or manipulate Monika's feelings. Some may lie or hide their own feelings. Every character will have their own wants & agendas that don't necessarily center around love and/or Monika.

Major differences include:

• 'Remembrance' will have no mafia involvement. 

• Monika did not grow up in an abusive home, and therefore has no phobias. 

• Monika is an only child.

• There will be a lot less murder! Probably… maybe.

What is Remembrance about?

Monika is a supernatural research scientist who's just landed one of the most desirable positions available - a government job with shocking pay and fantastic benefits. 

The down sides? She has to move to the middle of nowhere and cannot leave, all her research is private and restricted, and her contact with the outside world is extremely limited and monitored. They won't even tell her the specifics of her research topic until she's on-site and moved into an extremely secure government facility.

Upon starting her job, Monika is shocked to learn not only is it 'who' and not 'what' she's researching, but also that she's the centerpiece as to why these supernatural beings are in the mortal plane. None of this makes any sense. Monika is just a normal girl. She doesn't remember any of this! And why won't these beings tell her anything?
