last sketchbook tour of 2019!

I really like this particular sketchbook tour because of a couple of things:
1. I'm drawing more and more on my "ugly sketchbook". I wanted to test this theory about having an ugly sketchbook and if the idea of "not caring about what a drawing looks like" (aka. the purpose of said ugly sketchbook) will make me drawing differently and help me experiment more. And YES, it works!
2. I'm so proud on how much I've improved my portrait skills. I've been going to Chilean assemblies for the past months and I've been drawing people while they're are talking and discussing stuff. Suddenly I realized I have TWO FULL HOURS to sketch people sitting in front of me! This is like going to a drawing class! (I also pay attention and participate to what they're saying btw) but this has helped me a lot to improve.
Case and point: I know you might not tell the difference but this was my first one. These portraits are nice, but they don't look exactly like the people I'm drawing;

And this is my third one, where every person I drew, looks like that person! YAAAY!
Anyway, I wanted to share this with you cause it's been something super nice to discover. Portraits are something that I've always struggled with, and to see results (this month, and overall this year) has been super rewarding.
I wanted to share one final ipad illustration I did the other day with Ed, but I don't have photoshop installed so I can't open the fileeee! I'm so sorry guys, I'll make sure to share it next month :.... )
What is something you wanna practice during 2020? Please let me knoooow! I think I definitely focus on landscapes. I feel I've been avoiding going on that direction (because of fear: fear or failure, fear of not doing it right immediately, frustration and so on) but I'm ready to give it a go!
