I feel like I'm THE MOST clumsy + rusty + not eloquent enough person when it comes down to express how much you do for me, how much you help me. I guess that's why I draw, cause I feel way better at communicating visually! I think about this constantly, about you guys and "there are not enough words" "they will never understand" "how can I let them know how thankful I am" and so on. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you.
This year was specially difficult! My shop was closed most of the year, so my whole income came from savings and you guys. You allowed me to focus on the shop, to finally change from Etsy to a new platform, and THANK GOD you were there cause the website took so much longer than I anticipated (it was supposed to be done in April, it was launched in September!). You also allowed me to keep uploading videos and I finally started working on Erinyes, all thanks to you!
I never ever take this, what you do, for granted ma loves. There's no week where I don't tell Ed "I can't believe this is our life". You guys motivate me to work harder, to keep showing up, to keep myself accountable for my projects and deadlines and to improve my drawing skills (we improve so much this year!).
As a small way to say THANKS I've been working in this 2020 calendar for a while. A few notes:
1. I tried not to use huge portions of solid color cause I know you'll be printing this at home and I don't wanna use your whole ink cartridge haha
2. I didn't write any holidays or festivities, except for weekends. Also: so sorry for starting the week on Monday, I know a couple of you guys start the week on Sunday but I didn't have enough time to draw two calendars, I hope you don't mind!
3. If you notice some "dots" or specs, they were drawn on purpose, I thought they looked cute. My screen was kind of dirty when I was finishing the calendar and I was like "WHAT IS THIS, IT CUTE" so now you know.
4. All pages are 300dpi letter size!
I couldn't resist and after asking you guys what do you want, phone/ipad wallpaper or a calendar, I HAD to do both hahahaha. So I'm also attaching the most simple wallpaper for your gadgets. It should work for most phones and ipads (fingers crossed) but let me know if they do work!
I know this is a silly disclaimer BUT: please please I beg you, don't sell these gifts, don't modify/alter these illustrations and don't upload them as your work : (
