*ENGLISH VERSION*
in this episode: it's been some crazy bad-luck couple of weeks, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share with you all the moments I thought there was no way out and I was never going to make it to the other side. Alternative tittle to this episode: thank you to everybody who fired me before.
These are the good things:
• Kelly Stamps youtube channel, her dry humor is all I needed
• Sgar Blu's sketchbook tour
• Yoshitaka Amano, his universe on paper
• Quarantine comic by danielle
• look at these ladies
• breakup texts at your friend's house
• phoebe wahl's paintings
• who are you, by emily wang
• to the young fire that BURNS, by abelle
Places I've been invited:
• The AOI uploaded the spotlight session I was part of! We talked about the pandemic and how to survive financially as a freelancer.
• Andy invited me to his podcast Creative Pep Talk and this was the episode!
500 Albums challenge: This week was an AMAZING music week. I discovered Pretenders (can't believe I lived without them), it's tricky to find their music online, but there are a few songs on youtube. Also The B-52's, now I think I know Lorelai Gilmore better! Last, but not least, Arcade Fire's Funeral is a beautiful album. I've listened to Arcade Fire but never a whole album, beginning-to-end in one sitting. So nice!
