*ENGLISH VERSION*
in this episode: I went back to therapy and here's what I've learned (and found out) in these two weeks, understanding sadness and feeling angry, taking time off from a friend in order to create some (healthy) boundaries, PLUS: one nice thing for yourself challenge, and the reason why I've been drawing so much lately.
Lovely things I've been enjoying
• the "do one nice thing for yourself a day for a week" challenge. I challenge you to do it!
• You guys sent me this Behind the scenes Rilakkuma and it's so lovely and inspiring!
• Also you sent me (during the livestream!) Perspective for storyboards, by Bridgitiri (SO USEFUL!)
• more manga documentaries, this time is Tsutomu Takahashi. note: There’s a point where this particular manga artist draws something a million times and it was so refreshing to see someone as talented as Tsutomu make mistakes. Also the use of photography for backgrounds and how "imperfect" the sketches are!
• Midnight Gospel, so beautiful. Finally watched the last few episodes and I cried so much.
• A week of Packing by CatCreature (another beautiful yet melancholic vlog)
• I love the texture of this illustration by Rahele
• a zine for ants
• I love saree's art
• a meteor video, what a gorgeous thing to witness! (reminded me of Howl's Moving Castle spirits!)
• James Lee did this illustration and !!! the details are breathtaking
• the older lady and the tiger
• tiny ghost paintings
• I just love everything about this illustration by Mayumi
Currently watching on Netflix: Last Dance documentary (SO GOOD) and Love on the Spectrum
Currently reading: Normal People, by Sally Rooney (plus, almost done with Making Comics by Scott McCloud)
500 Albums Challenge: Gris Gris, by Dr. John AND The Meters, Rejuvenation, so happy I discovered The Meters!
