Homes on Mido are chiefly built near the tops of trees, far from the dangerous flora and fauna that inhabit the understory and forest floor. There is no standard architectural style, so it tends to vary from village to village. Vin's people favor wide-open, rounded huts with roofs made from thatch or bark. The rope-and-wood bridges that extend between them act as the village's streets, and are built sturdily enough to handle all but the heaviest of traffic.
