However it gets mussed during the night, that's how it stays until it's brushed out and either braided, or otherwise tied up just to keep it out of the way. Most keep theirs cut short simply for the sake of convenience, but Vin chose to let hers grow out because she just happens to like how it looks. It makes mornings a bit of a pain, though.
Speaking of which, she's absolutely not a morning person. It usually takes her a few tries to get out of bed, and even then, she's not truly awake until she's had a few glasses of water infused with a type of berry that acts the same way Caffeine does. Before that, forget trying to talk to her.
