New Printer Is Go!
Added 2020-05-12 00:51:33 +0000 UTCI've been itching to get a proper photo printer for a little while, now. The one I had previously was okay and all, but its prints just weren't crisp enough for my liking.
Canon started offering a big fat rebate on the Pixma Pro-100, so I snagged one, and thus far it's pretty impressive. It's a goddamn monster, but desk space is a small price to pay for being able to do prints up to 13x19 now.
Granted, I'm going to stick to smaller fare like stickers and postcard-sized prints for now, but it's nice that the possibility is there. I just need to get some nice papers and I'll be all set to start making stuff. But for what it's worth, it even makes cheap photo paper look pretty damn good.
My aim is to open up a mail tier before the end of the year. Hopefully sooner than later, but with all the crap I still have to do I want to leave some flex in my schedule. Once I figure out some of the logistics I'll post another update, but for now, I'm pretty goddamn excited.
