WreckMP session reports launched

The launcher update which we talked about in the previous Sunday news, was released on Saturday 27th April, and during the next week, the session report dialogs should slowly start appearing.

You might be wondering, what is the so called session report dialog? It is a window which will appear every few days when you exit WreckMP. If you are willing to help us improve WreckMP, using the dialog window you will rate your session and send your rating alongside with your mod list to us for further analyzation. Of course this action is 100% voluntary, and if you want, you can even tick the option "Don't show again".

We aim to use this data to find out what mods are most commonly causing issues with WreckMP, so that the players can be warned before joining a session if they have the mods installed.

Website reformation began

It's been a while since our official website had any other use than being a managing tool for our team. But with the addition of a guide How to report bugs with WreckMP, and the WreckMP mod list page, we have decided to make it into an informational website.

Currently, the website got a new homepage, and the 2 pages listed above reformatted to the new style. The projects page is still yet to be developed, and as of now it redirects to Nexusmods.

It is expected for the website reformation to be finished sometime next week.

New addition to the Hardcore mod

Hardcore mod got a brand new feature! As you all know, hardcore mod is supposed to make the game harder and more realistic, so we added a lighter you need to carry around to smoke cigarettes. The only way to light a cig now is to use the lighter!

Of course, the lighter itself can run out of gas, but you can refill it yourself using the gas tank. If you manage to use all the gas from the gas tank, don't worry! You can get new one at Teimo's.

As of now, the lighter color is customizable in mod settings, but it might be a subject to change. And for those who don't like this feature, don't worry! Just like all other features of Hardcore mod, it can be independently disabled in the mod settings.
