New WreckMP update is out for both public and beta branch

On Friday 9th of May, new update was released! Let's go over the changelog and talk about the features a little more in depth:

• Added session report integration

With this integration in place, launcher can now properly send session reports which we've talked about previously. We are already receiving reports, thank you for your co-operation!

• Disconnecting now closes game completely

A lot of bug reports were coming from the bug that would happen when you'd re-enter lobby after you've disconnected once.

This issue is not clear at the moment and would require further investigations, but since it is easy to avoid by restarting the game before joining a lobby again, it is not prioritized in the development.

So to avoid people getting caught into this bug, we've made it so that when you disconnect, instead of loading main menu again, the game closes. This change is making it easier to restart the game if needed and avoiding the bug itself. This way we can keep our focus on implementing new features while also improving the user experience.

• Fixed initial sync errors

The errors saying "Failed to send xxx bytes to xxx" when someone would join are now fixed!

• Fixed player nametag still being visible even after player leaves

In previous versions, when someone disconnected, the nametag remained visible on the place they were before disconnecting. This is not the case anymore!

• Reworked police sync

The errors regarding police on game start have been fixed, and with this opportunity we've completely remade the police sync, and made it better than ever before!

From now on, when you and your friends approach a police checkpoint in a car, the police man will only breath test and fine the driver, although the fine will be charged from the shared balance.

Money piles added to the wallet feature

After the last post about the wallet feature, some of you asked: "What if you get money, but you forgot your wallet at home?" and that is a great question. Say you're doing the sewage job, and you claim your 1200 MK, but you realise you forgot your wallet at home. What now? Can't grab anything until you find the wallet? No, that is too annoying and not really realistic...

So we sat and pondered, and we came up with the "money piles" feature! When you have "money in your hand", and you do not have the wallet around, or you just want to drop the money, you can now create a money pile on the ground, just like shown on the thumbnail.

This feature also allows a nice way to hide some of your money somewhere, such as if you'd like to save some emergency bucks in the pantry.

If you want to try out the beta version of the Hardcore mod, it is available for all Tier 2 patrons!
