I didn't meet my goal of clearing out my work queue this year, but this was a step in the right direction. Worked something out with the client to turn their boss rush request into an update for their original commission, and I think it turned out better for it.
Still hated making them wait so long, but at least the difference in skill feels like it makes up for the difference, cause I was a much different artist five years ago.
(Yes, it's been that long. I don't lie when I say I have the most patient clients on the planet but I hate that it's gotten to that point.)
